About the Role

The IT Systems Engineer is a senior technical leader responsible for designing, optimizing, and advancing the Firm’s endpoint and local infrastructure systems. Serving as a trusted advisor to leadership, this role drives technology innovation, enhances system performance, and supports strategic IT initiatives.

This role also plays an exciting part in the Firm’s AI-driven transformation efforts, partnering with IT leadership on cutting‑edge projects that integrate emerging autonomous technologies with modern infrastructure. From streamlining operations to exploring innovative AI capabilities, the IT Systems Engineer will help bridge today’s technology needs with tomorrow’s possibilities.

Your Key Contributions
  • Design, govern, and continuously improve the hardware lifecycle program for the Firm by establishing and maintaining asset governance, utilization data, and procurement recommendations.
  • Perform system analysis on conference room systems, network connectivity, endpoint configuration, and integration desktop environments to determine functional requirements and design appropriate solutions.
  • Conduct systematic assessments of server room conditions, evaluating environmental and power stability, and analyzing physical‑layer risk factors.
  • Design, develop, analyze, and modify the Firm’s AI productivity systems, including the design of system architecture, integration patterns, and configuration standards based on user and business requirements. Serve as the primary AI support resource, monitor platform health and adoption, and develop deep expertise to drive effective troubleshooting and recommendations.
  • Architect and lead specialized IT initiatives, including the design, development, testing, and modification of AI use cases, internal automation workflows, and pilot programs for emerging tools.
  • Create and maintain executive‑level start guides, internal knowledge base articles, and step‑by‑step documentation for AI tools and new technology rollouts. Deliver informal training sessions for broader office populations.
  • Conduct research and analysis of emerging AI trends, tools, and best practices in evaluating their strategic relevance to the firm. Deliver recommendations to IT leadership.
  • Serve as a dedicated point of contact for leadership, providing expedited, priority resolutions for complex technical matters including AI tool design, questions, and architecture, with an emphasis on minimal disruptions to executive workflows. Independently conducts periodic proactive check‑ins to surface and resolve emerging friction points.
  • Accountable for ensuring leadership has seamless connectivity and hardware performance across office, home, and travel environments. Pre‑stage equipment and validate configurations ahead of off‑site events or activities.
What Makes You a Great Fit
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field required; equivalent professional experience.
  • 3–6 years of progressive IT experience, including demonstrated responsibility for architecting, analyzing, or leading initiatives beyond routine support and deployment.
  • Demonstrated experience with local AI tools, Raspberry Pi projects, or Python scripting.
  • Strong background in hardware deployments, basic Microsoft platform usage, limited scripting/programming experience (Python, etc.)
  • Evaluates user needs, system constraints, and risk factors to design AI and infrastructure solutions that balance technical soundness, business impact, and executive usability, making informed trade‑off decisions in complex environments.
  • Partners closely with IT leadership, executives, and end users to design, deploy, and support AI systems, acting as a trusted technical advisor and coordinating across stakeholders to enable successful adoption.
  • Maintains effectiveness under pressure while providing priority support to executive leadership, troubleshooting complex issues, and adapting to rapidly evolving AI tools and infrastructure demands with minimal disruption.
