We are a devoted and capable team that includes world-renowned engineers and distinguished business leaders united by a common goal - To build the future of predictive maintenance.

As we enter the next phase of rapid growth, we are seeking people to help lead the journey.

This role exists to ensure the seamless execution of hardware initiatives by owning the operational, logistical, and customer-facing tasks that enable successful product development, launches, and deployments. The Hardware Automation Associate acts as the connective tissue across engineering, supply chain, sales, and customers, managing everything from part procurement and system configuration to customer demos, installations, and post-deployment success. By proactively driving coordination, documentation, and follow-through, this role eliminates execution gaps that slow down innovation and impact customer outcomes.

This is a hybrid role requiring at least three days per week on-site at Asset Watch headquarters in Dublin, OH, to support hands-on hardware configuration, prototype coordination, team collaboration, and deployment readiness.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify repetitive operational tasks and design AI-driven or no-code/low-code automations to reduce manual effort
  • Build and maintain workflows using tools like Zapier, Make, Airtable, or similar tools
  • Leverage AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT) to generate documentation, SOW drafts, and customer communications
  • Create automated customer onboarding flows, follow-ups, and status updates
  • Continuously evaluate new AI tools to improve efficiency across hardware operations
  • Own weekly procurement of hardware parts and materials, ensuring on-time delivery and adherence to budget constraints
  • Coordinate sourcing and ordering of components for prototypes and product launch
  • Configure, stage, and manage hardware systems for testing, demos, and deployments
  • Conduct customer education sessions and product demos
  • Track and manage customer pipeline stages and outreach when new products are launched
  • Create and maintain asset lists and deployment plans with customers
  • Coordinate and oversee installations and field trials
  • Support post-install customer success through data reviews and VOC collection
  • Act as the central coordinator across teams to ensure execution
Qualifications

- 2-5 years of experience in hardware operations, program coordination, technical support, or similar roles

- Ability to work in a hybrid model with at least three days per week on-site at Asset Watch headquarters in Dublin, OH.
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Hands-on comfort with hardware systems or components
- Experience or strong interest in AI tools, automation platforms, or workflow optimization
- Familiarity with no-code/low-code tools (Zapier, Airtable, Notion, etc.) is a strong plus
- Customer-facing experience (demos, onboarding, deployments)

- High attention to detail and strong execution mindset
- Comfort in fast-paced, ambiguous environments
