We are seeking a Data Engineer to support enterprise data initiatives by designing, developing, and optimizing data solutions that enable business-driven decision making. This role combines data engineering, analytics, and data modeling responsibilities, requiring strong SQL, Python, Databricks, and communication skills. The ideal candidate will be passionate about transforming complex data into meaningful insights while ensuring data quality, governance, and scalability across large enterprise environments.
What You’ll Do:- Develop and support scalable data pipelines, data transformations, and advanced datasets for analytics and reporting.
- Design, maintain, and optimize conceptual, logical, and physical data models that support enterprise-wide business needs.
- Create and maintain SQL queries, Python scripts, and data workflows to support operational and analytical processes.
- Build and support SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) workflows and SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS) Tabular Models.
- Leverage Databricks and Medallion Architecture principles to organize, process, and manage data across multiple layers.
- Collaborate with business and analytics stakeholders to translate requirements into sustainable data solutions.
- Ensure data quality, governance, lineage, metadata management, and adherence to enterprise modeling standards.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- Strong experience with SQL and Python for data analysis, transformation, and automation.
- Experience with Databricks, including a solid understanding of Medallion Architecture.
- Hands‑on experience with enterprise data modeling and tools such as ERwin, ER/Studio, or similar platforms.
- Knowledge of dimensional modeling (Kimball) and/or Data Vault methodologies.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including formulas, Pivot Tables, Power Pivot, VBA, and macros.
- Experience working with modern data platforms such as Snowflake, cloud data warehouses, and large-scale enterprise data environments.
