About the Role:
The Business Analyst in the manufacturing sector plays a critical role in bridging the gap between business needs and technological solutions. This position is responsible for thoroughly analyzing current business processes, identifying inefficiencies, and proposing data-driven improvements to enhance operational performance. The role involves gathering and documenting detailed business requirements, facilitating communication between stakeholders, and ensuring that solutions align with strategic objectives.
The Business Analyst will also lead user acceptance testing to validate that implemented changes meet business expectations. Ultimately, this role drives continuous improvement initiatives that support the company’s growth and competitive advantage in the manufacturing industry.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Proven experience in business analysis within the manufacturing industry or a similar environment.
- Strong proficiency in gathering and documenting business requirements.
- Experience with gap analysis and business process modeling.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Visio and data management techniques including data mapping and cleansing.
- Ability to design and conduct user acceptance testing.
- Proficiency in using macros or similar automation tools to enhance data processing.
