Procurement Coordinator

The Procurement Coordinator plays a vital role in keeping our procurement team running smoothly and effectively. As a key contributor within the QSCC Procurement organization, you'll support a team of buyers across multiple food and packaging categories, helping ensure Wendy’s restaurants nationwide have a consistent supply of high-quality products.

In this dynamic role, no two days are exactly alike. You'll partner closely with procurement professionals on a variety of routine and special projects, providing critical support in areas such as database management, pricing analysis, reporting, and process coordination. Leveraging your analytical mindset and problem-solving skills, you'll help transform data into insights, improve processes, and support strategic decision-making that impacts the broader supply chain.

• Administrative Category Support. Maintain up-to-date information for internal and external partners. Ensure accurate information in appropriate trackers and systems, including setup and update of supplier and item details to support implementation of initiatives such as new graphics, promotions, changes in suppliers, etc. Manage and spearhead updated documentation for annual enterprise risk management (ERM).
• Data analysis and reporting. Includes support of item pricing and forecasting by conducting landed cost analyses, retrieving and assembling data for category profiles and RFP (request for proposal) events, creating supplier scorecard documents, and providing regular reports to support business needs.
• Manage pricing for assigned categories and items. Create item information, setup suppliers, track allocation of incumbent pricing, and follow-up with buyers & finance partners to ensure accurate information for reporting to members and cross-functional partners.
• Partner with QSCC Finance and Commodity Risk Management teams to support commodity and monthly cost of goods sold (COGS) updates. Serve as the team’s point of contact for detailed data, commodity inputs, and updates.
• Partner with QSCC’s operations team and appropriate buyers to assure supply of quality products, e.g. following up on orders.
• Backup for purchasing team members and other process support & duties as needed or assigned

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field and/ or experience in procurement, supply chain management, logistics, or related field preferred
• 1+ year working in a professional or office environment preferred
• Understanding of and experience in the food service industry a plus!
• Analytical thinking. Ability to break down problems, interpret data, and identify patterns to support informed decision-making. Comfortable using spreadsheets, reports, and basic tools to evaluate information and suggest practical solutions.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel. Hands-on experience using Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook in a professional setting.
