Operations Manager, Program / Project Manager, Regulatory Compliance Specialist
Position Overview
Primary
Purpose:
To be responsible for the technical and operational functions within assigned office(s) including compliance with company standards and industry best practices; to ensure consistent delivery of quality services including direct operational responsibility of an office in the location where the manager resides; to be responsible for staffing and training needs; and to be responsible for budget preparation and profit and loss management for assigned offices.
The role has direct and/or indirect responsibility for 50–99 colleagues.
- Responsible for overall operations management for all assigned locations/offices.
- Establish and maintain policies and procedures to assure compliance with best practices, claims management service standards, state regulations, and client service requirements.
- Develop business plans with goals and objectives for the partnership and locations/offices.
- Monitor management reports relating to partner/office performance.
- Assist with the coordination of sales and client service efforts.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Support the organization's quality program(s).
- Travel as required.
- Administer company personnel policies, follow staffing standards and training recommendations.
- Interview, hire and establish colleague performance development plans.
- Conduct performance discussions with colleagues.
- Provide support, guidance, leadership and motivation to promote maximum performance.
- Education:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university preferred; CPCU, ARM, AIM, and/or AIC certifications preferred; licenses as required. - Experience:
10 years related experience or equivalent combination; 7 years claims management experience; 4 years supervisory experience. - Skills & Knowledge:
Strong technical claims knowledge; excellent oral and written communication, including presentation skills; PC literacy with Microsoft Office; leadership/management/motivational skills; analytical and interpretive skills; strong organizational skills; excellent interpersonal skills; excellent negotiation skills; ability to work in a team environment; ability to meet or exceed performance expectations.
Annual base salary range of $92,728.00 – $ USD. A comprehensive benefits package is offered including medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with matching, paid time off, disability and life insurance, employee assistance, flexible spending or health savings account, and other voluntary benefits.
