Machinist

Trillium has an opening for a Machinist in Dublin!

This Temp-to-Hire opportunity is seeking an individual to set up and operate vertical milling machines to fabricate stamping dies, fixtures, and precision parts from blueprints or technical directions.

You will prepare raw stock, secure materials using overhead equipment, inspect finished parts, assemble die components, and perform routine maintenance on machines. The role also includes managing tools and consumables.

This position can convert to a permanent role based on performance and attendance.

Responsibilities:
-Operate milling machines using G-CODE to produce dies, fixtures, and parts.
-Prepare, secure, and machine raw stock to specifications.
-Inspect parts to tight tolerances and assemble die components.
-Maintain milling machines, lathes, and surface grinders.
-Manage tools, consumables, and use additional shop equipment as needed.

Schedule is 1st Shift / Monday-Friday / 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM. Pay rate is $19.00 - $20.00 per hour DOE.

-Associate's degree or equivalent training/experience.
-Candidates should have strong machining skills, be proficient in G-CODE, and capable of working to tight tolerances.
-3-5 years machining experience with milling operations.
-Proficiency with CAD/CAM and basic computer software.
-Ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring tools.
-Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform hands-on shop tasks.
