* As a  
** General Production** , you'll help us make sheet metal products by running different types of equipment. If you enjoy working with your hands, staying active, and being a part of a team, this could be a great fit for you.

** What You'll Do:*
* + Run machines like spot welders, presses, and shearers to help build our sheet metal products.

+ Move and handle sheet metal parts, loading them onto machines or stacking them as needed.

+ Clean, grind, and scrape metal to get it ready for welding, painting, or shipping.

+ Check parts to make sure they're made right, sometimes using blueprints or instructions.

+ Pick up leftover scrap and keep your workspace, tools, and equipment clean.

** If You Have Experience, You Might Also:*
* + Fine-tune metal parts with tools like hammers and grinders.

+ Plan out which steps to do first on a project.

+ Set up machines (press brakes, plasma cutters, drills, saws, etc.)

+ Build templates or fixtures that help with the sheet metal work.

** What You Need:*
* + High school diploma or GED is great.

+ Having 1-3 years of experience in a similar job is helpful but not required.

+ A combination of any experience or education works too.

** Physical Stuff to Know:*
* + You'll spend a lot of time on your feet, standing, walking, stretching, bending, or lifting.

+ You'll regularly need to lift up to 50 pounds, and once in a while, up to 100 pounds.

+ Good eyesight is important for this work.
