Associate Director, Integrated Marketing and Communications

The Associate Director of Integrated Marketing and Communications leads day-to-day communications planning, project management, and content distribution across Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine (HCOM) channels to ensure consistent messaging and coordinated execution of marketing and communications initiatives. This role manages integrated communications campaigns from planning through execution while serving as project manager for communications and marketing initiatives, developing and maintaining the editorial content calendar, and coordinating content distribution across web, email, social media, publications, and other platforms.
Additional responsibilities include overseeing website content strategy and updates, managing digital publishing platforms including newsletters, the Viewbook, and Foleon publications, and producing regular reports on campaign effectiveness and audience engagement. This hands-on role requires the ability to write, edit, and work within the platforms being managed while ensuring the Heritage College's brand is represented consistently across channels and coordinating workflow among content creators, photographers, and videographers.
Position Profile
- Develops and manages communications strategies to effectively convey the University's vision to students, employees, alumni, and the public. Produces, edits, and coordinates content for audio, visual, and photographic marketing media using the web, audio, video, and other electronic media, which may involve writing, editing, designing, production, and programming.

- Manages and resolves complex and ambiguous issues. Works on both strategic and operational challenges, addressing problems that require advanced knowledge and experience. Often takes on leadership roles in projects or initiatives.

Physical Requirements
- This role is primarily desk-based and involves extensive use of desktop computers. Occasionally, the job may require travel to attend meetings and programs.
Minimum Qualifications
- Requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field and 5 or more years of related professional experience, or equivalent education and experience.
Preferred Qualifications - 1 year of direct supervisory experience Master's degree Strong project management and collaboration skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks, set priorities, solve problems, and pay close attention to detail Thorough understanding of AP Style and expertise in digital and traditional channels, including social media and website content management Experience demonstrating creativity and innovation in the development of engaging multimedia content

Pay Rate
- The approved hiring range for this position is $51,281 to $67,947. Offers outside of this range require additional approvals. The final offer will be commensurate with the candidate's education and experience in relation to the minimum qualifications for the position.
