The Director of Brand Marketing is a highly motivated and engaging leader who is a catalyst for brand growth by developing impactful business strategies and communications that engage consumers in a way that drives the business. They set vision, develop strategies, and lead cross‑functional and agency teams for their areas of accountability. They lead the creation of marketing, product and communications initiatives that deliver on our brand and business goals.

- Develop Annual U.S. Business & Brand Plans that create the vision for respective categories and deliver on our growth mindset and goals. Facilitate engagement across marketing teams and cross‑functionally to develop a business case, priority alignment, scorecards & KPIs.
- Lead the development of respective programming on the U.S. National Marketing Calendar, setting the priority level and overall marketing strategy and goals. Create business cases that influence and inspire Senior Leadership to support national & test programs on our U.S. Marketing Calendar and provide inputs into our annual AOP planning process and ongoing outlook/forecast updates based on learnings, program expectations, and calendar priorities.
- Lead respective projects/initiatives in the marketing plan across a broad cross‑functional team from ideation to implementation with a key focus on collaboration, creativity, and critical thinking.
- Lead menu strategy and product development for Wendy's, working closely with cross‑functional teams such as R&D, Operations, Supply Chain and Finance to bring the strategy and initiatives to life.
- Partner with the Advertising, Media & Agency teams to create streamlined marketing campaigns that deliver on strategic U.S business objectives through driving creative direction, consumer insights and evaluation.
- Lead a high‑performing U.S. Brand team, through role clarity to teams and by level, expectation setting and accountability check‑ins, as well as growth and development mindset and actions.
- Prepare content and engage with franchisee audiences (WNAP, DMAP, etc.) as needed to present information, gather input, and/or inspire excitement around new programming.

Pay Range$ – $ Annually
Qualifications- Preferred:
Master's in marketing or MBA - 7–10 years of experience in National Marketing for Retail or QSR brand
- Business case writing and/or P&L management
- Demonstrated experience leading cross‑functional teams
- Demonstrated product management experience, including innovation
- Experience managing and working with ad agencies
It is expected that you will primarily perform work at the Wendy's Restaurant Support Center (RSC) (1 Dave Thomas Blvd, Dublin, OH 43017), or at other location(s) as designated by the Company. You are required to work in the office at least 4 days a week. Changes to work location arrangements are subject to managerial approval and business needs.
