    • Manage the EHA Program:
Oversee day‑to‑day operations of the Emergency Household Assistance program, including processing applications, verifying documentation, and managing fund allocation.
    • Direct Client Assessment:
Conduct comprehensive intake assessments (via phone, virtually, or in person) to evaluate families experiencing financial crisis and determine eligibility for assistance.
    • Crisis Intervention:
Provide immediate, empathetic, and professional support to individuals facing eviction, utility disconnection, or homelessness.
  • Resource Navigation & Advocacy
    • Housing & Rental Support:
Actively connect clients with external housing resources, wrap‑around rent support programs, and local housing authorities.
    • Emergency Shelter Coordination:
Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of local emergency shelter capacities and facilitate immediate placements or referrals for unhoused clients.
    • Community Referrals:
Connect families to broader support systems, including food resources, employment services, and mental health support, ensuring a holistic approach to stability.
  • Data Tracking & Reporting
    • Maintain Client Records:
Ensure accurate, confidential, and timely entry of client data into our case management tracking system.
    • Outcome Measurement:
Track key performance indicators and long‑term stability outcomes to evaluate the impact of the EHA program.
    • Grant Compliance & Reporting:
Prepare regular program reports to support grant updates, donor relations, and organizational storytelling.
  • Qualifications & Skills
    • Experience: Prior experience in case management, housing services, or nonprofit program administration preferred. Lived experience will be honored.
    • Knowledge Base: Deep understanding of local housing resources, eviction processes, and public assistance systems.
    • Willingness to Learn: You will be trained in multiple systems and have the opportunity to create your own base of knowledge for this role. Prior experience is preferred but not required.

      Skills:

Exceptional active listening, verbal communication, and crisis‑escalation skills. Ability to interact with diverse populations with dignity and respect.
    • Technical Savvy: Proficiency with case management databases, CRM tools, and basic data organization (e.g., Excel/Google Sheets) to track client outcomes, or the ability to quickly learn these tools. Experience with Salesforce is a plus.
    • Core Traits: High emotional intelligence, strong organizational skills, and a steadfast commitment to client confidentiality.

Even if you do not meet all of these qualifications, you can still apply! We are committed to remaining open about who we hire and how your varied experiences can benefit our organization and those we serve.
