Registered Nurse (RN) will provide care in an atmosphere sensitive to each person’s physical, emotional, social and spiritual needs, within the scope of the Ohio Nurse Practice Act. The RN collaborates in a team spirit, is accountable for delivery of patient care using the Nursing Process and follows the Organization’s standards, policies, procedures and guidelines.

• Provide nursing care and ensure an environment of patient safety.
• Promote evidence‑based practice and quality initiatives, exhibiting professionalism within the ANCC Magnet Recognition Program® model.
• Assess and evaluate patient care for an assigned group of patients, utilizing evidence based practice.
• Collaborate with patients and families to develop and implement a plan of care that includes physical, spiritual and educational components.
• Accurately communicate pertinent information to appropriate team members in a timely manner.
• Keep patients/families apprised and updated.
• Document accurately and completely assessments, interventions and outcomes for patients in accordance with documentation standards, policies, procedures and/or guidelines.
• Assume responsibility and accountability for care provided and documented by other licensed and unlicensed caregivers as appropriate.

• Graduate from a school of nursing.
• Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Ohio.
• For casual RNs: 2 years of experience required.
• New graduate nurses with less than one year clinical experience will be automatically enrolled in the Nurse Residency Program.
