Registered Nurse (RN) – Casual Staff – ICU, Mount Carmel Dublin, night shift as needed. The role also includes mentoring/coaching nurses in the IMC and M/S units and acting as Rapid Response for the hospital.

The Registered Nurse RN, within the scope of the Ohio Nurse Practice Act, will provide care in an atmosphere sensitive to each person’s physical, emotional, social, and spiritual needs. The RN collaborates in the spirit of teamwork and is accountable for the delivery of patient care utilizing the Nursing Process within the standards, policies, procedures, and guidelines of the Organization.

• Provide nursing care, ensuring an environment of patient safety, promoting evidence‑based practice and quality initiatives, and exhibiting professionalism in nursing practice within the ANCC Magnet Recognition Program.
• Assess and evaluate patient care for an assigned group of patients, utilizing evidence‑based practice, and collaborate with patients and families to develop and implement a plan of care that includes physical, spiritual, and educational components.
• Accurately communicate pertinent information to appropriate team members in a timely manner, keeping patients/families apprised.
• Document accurately and completely pertinent assessments, interventions, and outcomes in accordance with documentation standards and organizational guidelines.
• Assume responsibility and accountability for the care provided and documented by other licensed and unlicensed care providers as appropriate.

• Graduate from a school of nursing.
• Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Ohio.
• For casual RNs, 2 years of clinical experience are required.
• New graduate nurses with less than one year of clinical experience will automatically be enrolled in the Nurse Residency Program.
