This position will be Part‑Time RN Clinical Educator and Part‑Time Staff RN in the Emergency Department at Mount Carmel Dublin.

- Serves as a role model in the management of select patient populations through direct or indirect care.
- Acts as a leader in monitoring, evaluating and helping to establish the standard of practice.
- Assesses the learning needs of colleagues within patient care settings in order to plan, organize, coordinate and participate in development and/or teaching of programs to meet those identified needs.
- Develops, reviews, and revises standards of care, policies, procedures, practice guidelines, classes, and protocols of care to reflect current evidence‑based practice and changing technology.
- Promotes, participates in, or conducts on‑going research in clinical practice.
- Develops patient education materials that are easy‑to‑read/understand and culturally sensitive to ensure clinicians have the resources essential to support the educational need of the patient, family and community.
- Utilizes all available platforms including written, electronic and web‑based services to provide education and promote learning including collaboration with other organizations on language access services to encompass diverse patient populations.
- All other duties as assigned.
Education
:
Master's degree in Nursing from an accredited institution; or currently enrolled in a Master's degree in Nursing program with anticipated achievement within 2-3 years.
Licensure / Certification
:
Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Ohio;
Professional certification(s) preferred; BLS Healthcare Provider training required.
Experience
:
Minimum of 3-5 years recent experience in area of specialization preferred. Demonstrates leadership and teaching experience.
