Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner Opportunity
Via Quest Psychiatric & Behavioral Solutions specializes in mental and behavioral health treatment for individuals of all ages with intellectual or developmental disabilities, deaf or hard of hearing, and the aging population. Our clients are supported by a team of mental health counselors, social workers, certified nurse practitioners, and case managers to ensure the best outcomes for those we serve. Responsibilities may include:
- Performing face to face or telehealth assessments and ongoing psychiatric visits with clients of all ages including children, adolescents, and adults.
- Complete assessments and visits within facilities such as long-term care and skilled nursing.
- Maintaining current patient records to clearly state problems, plans, actions, goals, and changes as they occur.
- Instructing and educating clients and their caregivers.
- Managing client medications.
- Providing psychotherapy services as needed.
Requirements for this position include:
- Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
- PMHNP certification through the ANCC required.
- Willingness to travel up to 1 hour (one way) for facility visits.
- Experience in psychiatric, mental health and behavioral health services preferred.
- Telepsychiatry experience preferred but not required.
- Willingness to work with a variety of ages including children, adolescents, adults, geriatric, and individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
