Reference Test Clerk – Dublin, OH
Labcorp is seeking a Reference Test Clerk.
Work schedule:
Tuesday – Saturday 11:30pm – 8:00am (rotating weekends).
- Prepare laboratory specimens for analysis and testing.
- Research, troubleshoot, and resolve customer and specimen problems.
- Send test requests to the proper location and release test results.
- Assist clients with any specimen‑related requests or inquiries.
- Process specimens to be sent out to additional facilities.
- Provide support to various areas of the laboratory.
- Perform sample sorting, racking, and retrieving.
- Prepare record logs in a timely and efficient manner.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 3 months or more of specimen processing experience.
- 3 months or more of medical or laboratory experience.
- Comfortable with handling biological specimens.
- Ability to accurately identify specimens.
- Basic computer and data entry skills.
- Ability to work independently and within a team.
- High attention to detail with ability to prioritize and multitask.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced production environment and meet established turnaround times.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to handle the physical requirements of the position.
- Pass a standardized color blindness test.
- Flexibility to work overtime or other shifts as needed.
Pay range: $17.75 – $20.00 per hour plus shift differential.
