Lab Testing Clerk - Referrals

Reference Test Clerk – Dublin, OH

Labcorp is seeking a Reference Test Clerk.

Work schedule:

Tuesday – Saturday 11:30pm – 8:00am (rotating weekends).

• Prepare laboratory specimens for analysis and testing.
• Research, troubleshoot, and resolve customer and specimen problems.
• Send test requests to the proper location and release test results.
• Assist clients with any specimen‑related requests or inquiries.
• Process specimens to be sent out to additional facilities.
• Provide support to various areas of the laboratory.
• Perform sample sorting, racking, and retrieving.
• Prepare record logs in a timely and efficient manner.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

• High School Diploma or equivalent.

• 3 months or more of specimen processing experience.
• 3 months or more of medical or laboratory experience.

• Comfortable with handling biological specimens.
• Ability to accurately identify specimens.
• Basic computer and data entry skills.
• Ability to work independently and within a team.
• High attention to detail with ability to prioritize and multitask.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced production environment and meet established turnaround times.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to handle the physical requirements of the position.
• Pass a standardized color blindness test.
• Flexibility to work overtime or other shifts as needed.

Pay range: $17.75 – $20.00 per hour plus shift differential.
