Position: Laboratory Sample Coordinator (Entry-Level)
We are hiring for a Laboratory Sample Coordinator here in the Columbus, Ohio area! We have multiple openings and these are long-term career opportunities for people looking to get their foot in the door in the field!

We currently have openings for shifts starting at 4am and at 11:30pm. These are full-time positions and candidate must be able to work overtime as needed.

Job Description

The roles will primarily be handling human specimens/samples and scanning them into the system, getting them prepared for testing in the lab, taking them to and from walk in freezers as necessary, and inserting samples into laboratory machinery for processing. This is fully a laboratory environment and will include no patient interaction at all.

Responsibilities

+ Scan patient samples into the computer system.

+ Operate and troubleshoot laboratory machinery to help process samples.

+ Package up samples that need to be sent back out for additional testing.

+ Utilize walk-in freezers for sample storage.

Qualifications

+ High School Diploma or Equivalent.

+ Experience in a laboratory environment is preferred, but not required.

Shifts:

+ 4am - 12:30pm, Tuesday - Saturday, plus some daily overtime.

+ 11:30pm - 8am, Monday - Friday, plus 1-2 hours of daily overtime and rotating Saturday or Sunday work every 2-3 weeks as needed.

This is a Permanent position based out of Dublin, OH.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr.
