Join our team as Sous Chef! As the Sous Chef, you’re the creative force behind the banquet kitchen, preparing delicious bites for guests. You’ll follow classic recipes or invent new favorites for special events, ensuring every dish looks and tastes amazing. You’ll help keep the kitchen spotless, safe, and organized while making smart choices to reduce waste and maximize ingredient value.

This position is an overtime eligible manager (OEM); overtime applies and is calculated accordingly.

• Guest & Team Magic: Welcome guests with a positive demeanor, maintain culinary standards, motivate the team, and deliver excellent service.

• Leadership Legends: Lead the kitchen crew, motivate and train staff, hire top talent, and provide ongoing coaching to drive a winning team.
• Kitchen Wizardry: Manage kitchen budgets and inventory, monitor food costs, oversee pantry and equipment, and maintain organization and cleanliness in the kitchen and banquet areas.
• Creative Cuisine: Create banquet menus and design food presentations for plating and buffets to elevate guest experience.

• Typically requires a Bachelor's degree and 2 to 4 years of experience in a high-volume, full-service restaurant.
• Ability to independently resolve complex workplace challenges, escalating only the most difficult issues while maintaining composure under pressure.
• Demonstrates subject-matter expertise and effectively leads, coaches, and mentors others.
• Effective communication, clear evaluation of options, and active listening to address concerns from colleagues and guests.
