Reports to: Warehouse Manager/Operations Manager

To ensure the company’s objectives are met in the areas of loading and unloading freight, and providing direct customer service.

• Ensure total customer satisfaction through courteous service while performing assigned duties in warehouse as well as assisting customers with loading and unloading merchandise.
• Record all required data when processing a customer’s pick-up and/or return, including verification through computer records of merchandise and location.
• Record the license number and verify vehicle model.
• Verify that the customer has no balance and can safely receive merchandise.
• Thank the customer for their purchase.
• Issue, receive and store material, supplies and equipment according to established procedures.
• Maintain open communication with management and keep floor current by following Visual Merchandiser’s instructions regarding displays.
• Maintain list of customer pick-ups ensuring every customer is assisted and complete warehouse closing checklist to ensure everything has properly been closed.
• Inspect merchandise received and validate its integrity and accuracy in inventory.
• Perform duties in accordance with company safety rules and operating regulations; report any safety violations to management; wear proper safety equipment; verify dock gates are secured.
• Accept responsibility for safety and security of all company property; maintain equipment and work area in clean and orderly condition; maintain records and files in an orderly condition.
• Undertake and complete other responsibilities as assigned by store management, which may include assisting with customer deliveries outside of the store and supporting policy changes, systems or work rules.

• Must be able to lift, stoop, bend, push or pull up to 100 pounds.
• Must be able to sit/stand for up to a 10 hour shift.
