General Position Summary
  • Produce sales gains by providing customer service.
  • Meet or exceed company objectives in all individual statistics.
  • Provide consistent, documented appraisal of associate’s sales performance, offering feedback on strengths and opportunities in line with company objectives.
  • Adhere to visual guidelines: merchandising, signage, and store cleanliness.
  • Maintain professional appearance in accordance with dress code policy.
Principle Duties and Responsibilities
  • Produce sales gains by providing customer service.
  • Meet or exceed company objectives in all individual statistics.
  • Provide documented appraisal of associate’s sales performance and feedback in line with company objectives.
  • Maintain visual standards: merchandising, signage, cleanliness.
  • Adhere to dress code policy.
Control Expenses
  • Protect company assets within Lids Retail policies.
  • Assist in preparing store schedules within wage control guidelines.
  • Follow inventory management policies for receiving, transferring, price changes, and product counts.
  • Document and maintain records per Lids policies and laws.
  • Open and close store as required per Operations P&P Manual.
  • Support all Lids policies, procedures, and guidelines.
Additional Principal Duties and Responsibilities
  • Participate in Lids training programs, adhere to sales and task goals, and follow up regularly.
  • Assist in recruiting and training store personnel on operations and procedures.
  • Encourage compliance of company policies, procedures, and guidelines for inventory, funds, and property safety.
  • Perform subordinates’ work as needed.
  • Communicate with employees at all levels.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Job Required Knowledge & Skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent plus one year related experience.
  • Ability to produce sales results while minimizing loss.
  • Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
  • Computer operation and familiarity with related software.
  • Lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Climb ladder and work with hands overhead.
  • Stand for up to 100% of work time.
  • Work unsupervised.
Preferred Job Required Knowledge & Skills

Assistant Store Managers can earn up to 25% above local minimum wage based on experience. Compensation may vary by skills, experience, and location. Assistant Store Managers Part Time are available for monthly store sales bonuses and a 40% employee discount.
