The Assistant Manager‑PT reports to the Store Manager and assists with account management and sales activities while delivering an excellent customer‑service experience. The role collaborates with Acima retail partners to process credit turn‑down applications and web orders, converting them into Acima credit customers. It also reviews lease applications, promotes and sells Acima leasing benefits, and drives conversions at partner store locations.

The position is hourly, paid in accordance with Acima’s payroll procedures.

Compensation: $14.45 – $16.49

• Drive customer growth through web, partner stores, and walk‑ins.
• Listen, identify, and fulfill all customer needs promptly.
• Educate customers on Lease‑To‑Own terms, payment options, benefits, and the entire application process.
• Close the sales cycle by converting applications from in‑store and web orders.
• Work cooperatively with Acima partner stores in all operational aspects.
• Report to and communicate with the Store Manager regarding store activities and performance.

• Establish partnerships with retail store personnel to generate referrals and educate customers on the Lease‑To‑Own process.
• Promptly address and resolve customer issues and complaints to maintain satisfaction and friendly service.
• Cultivate a positive work environment to enhance coworker retention and minimize turnover.

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications.
• Familiarity with rental or leasing industry practices is a plus.
• Organized with time‑management skills and the ability to multi‑task.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

This is a part‑time position. Days and hours vary but will include evenings and weekends, Monday through Sunday.

The role requires frequent talking and listening to coworkers and customers. It is highly active, requiring standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and occasionally climbing.
