Retail Receiving Lead

The base pay for this position is $21 per hour.

• Lead and create a best-in-class customer experience as a brand ambassador for the Wayfair family.

• Manage and monitor stock levels, merchandise adjacencies, presentations, signing, and assortment in all departments to ensure the sales floor is adequately stocked.
• Support customer fulfillment across all channels, including order pick up and incoming inventory.
• Safely unload and organize incoming and outgoing freight as needed.
• Maintain backroom standards, including ticketing as needed.
• Perform replenishment duties and signage.
• Assist with visual adjacencies and presentations as needed.
• Ensure the store meets visual, replenishment, cleanliness, safety, and back‑of‑house standards during floor leadership shifts.
• Use sales analytics tools to drive store profitability and growth.
• Foster and instill a culture of accountability and continuous feedback.

• As keyholder, responsibly open and close the store.

• 2+ years of retail experience, preferably in the home or furnishings space.
• Passion for great customer service, operational excellence, and efficiency.
• Track record of thriving in a fast‑paced, changing environment.
• Strong organizational, self‑motivation, communication, and relationship management skills.

• Technical acumen to learn necessary software and systems.
• Ability to process information and merchandise through a computer system and POS register system.

• Frequent standing, walking, talking, and hearing; occasional sitting, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling.
• Must lift up to 75 pounds unassisted and maneuver product up to 150+ pounds unassisted or via team lift.
• Specific vision abilities: close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

Employee shifts may include two hours before or after store hours. Store hours are Monday‑Saturday 10 am‑8 pm and Sunday 11 am‑7 pm.
