Position Summary
Do you have a knack for helping people, following recipes, and organization? Our Bakery/Packager associates prepare fresh baked items daily for our members, following recipes and wrapping, labeling, and storing merchandise to ensure the freshest items are available for members to take home. You may juggle several tasks in a short amount of time while helping members with their bakery orders.

- Prepare bakery department merchandise based on daily production needs by operating baking equipment, following recipes and make‑up instructions, wrapping, labeling, and storing merchandise according to company policies and procedures; ensure compliance with food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, cold‑chain compliance, and inventory management; operate, maintain, and sanitize equipment; demonstrate understanding of product and layout execution.
- Leverage digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement; use handheld technology for immediate business decisions related to production, merchandise ordering, training, and product quality.
- Ensure operational excellence, maintain work area per company policies and procedures; uphold quality and date control standards for bakery items; secure fragile and high‑shrink merchandise; eliminate waste; assist members with purchasing decisions; ensure merchandise is packaged, labeled, and stored per company policies.
- Act as an advocate for the department and club by valuing the member's experience in the meat area and modeling high‑quality service and products; execute basics at highest possible level of quality; exhibit energy, commitment, and passion.
- Comply with company policies, procedures and standards of ethics and integrity, implementing related action plans; use the Open Door Policy and apply in business processes and practices.
- Complete work assignments and priorities by using policies, data, and resources; collaborate with managers, coworkers, customers, and business partners; identify priorities, deadlines, and expectations; communicate progress; recommend ways to address improvement opportunities; adapt and learn from change, difficulty, and feedback.

- Hourly wage range: $18.00 to $26.00 per hour.
- The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the minimum wage applicable to the job location.
- Additional compensation may be paid in premiums ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances based on schedule, facility, season or specific work performed.
Must be 18 years of age or older.
Applicants must successfully complete all required job trainings and assessments within a prescribed time period if hired.
