Primary

Purpose:

To engage assigned sales leads and prospects for state specific workers' compensation services via telephone and email contact

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Initiates sales calls to potential customers or leads to cultivate new business
  • Works assigned prospects to promote and sell products and/or services, i.e. enrollment into workers' compensation programs.
  • Follows established procedures and guidelines; may require deviation from standard screens, scripts and procedures based on leads.
  • Contacts targeted state workers' compensation policy holders to gain permission to review for client workers' compensation program.
  • Negotiates fees within limits of authority and specified parameters.
  • Support overall sales and marketing initiatives of the organization.

Additional Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Supports the organization's quality program(s).

Qualifications:

Education & Licensing: High School diploma or GED required.

Experience: Two (2) years of inside sales/telemarketing experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required.

Skills & Knowledge:

  • Knowledge of inside sales and telemarketing
  • Knowledge of organizations' products and services
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • PC literate, including Microsoft Office products
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Ability to multitask
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Ability to meet or exceed Performance Competencies
