Data Center Security Manager (DSM)– Key Responsibilities
The selected individual will manage physical security operations, develop post orders, define security procedures, handle site incidents, work with security equipment, participate in construction projects, and drive day‑to‑day process improvement activities while managing vendors. Duties include ensuring consistent deployment of required security policies, participating in recurring site audits and reviews, testing new security technologies, and overseeing vendor management and guard force operations.

Typical duties include reviewing security incidents, performing system checks, conducting thorough security system checks, participating in operations meetings with the DC Operations team, inspecting perimeter security, managing security tickets, coordinating vendor escorts, overseeing security guard operations, conducting post inspections, reviewing metrics, and maintaining constant vigilance over the facility’s security posture.

BasicQualifications
- 2+ years overseeing security operations and working with security vendors/contractors
- Experience in technical, security, privacy education/training, information security, risk management, corporate communications, program management, project management, psychology or related field
- 6+ months in security roles, preferably in a data center or similar environment
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of law enforcement or security‑related experience

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign‑on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and location.
