Job Summary
Security 101 – Cincinnati is now recruiting a Lead Commercial Security Technician that has experience installing and programming commercial electronic security devices primarily CCTV, Access Control devices, IP Cameras, Intrusion Detection, Video Analytics, IP network systems and overall commercial electronic security systems.

Salary and BenefitsHourly wage varies from $30.00 to $40.00, non‑exempt, commensurate with skills, product knowledge and experience. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, prescription coverage, 401(k) plan, paid holidays, PTO and more. A cell phone, laptop and work vehicle are provided.
Skills / Abilities- Minimum 5+ years of experience installing, servicing and programming commercial access control, IP‑based video systems and intrusion alarm systems.
- Minimum 3 years as a project lead, responsible for complete project supervision.
- Process‑oriented with strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to support customer systems via remote diagnostics with professionalism.
- Knowledge and practical experience with the internet and networking is essential.
- Can work independently and resolve problems to the customer’s satisfaction.
- Valid driver’s license and clean MVR.

Genetec, Software House, Lenel/S2. - Video:
Axis, Exacq, Milestone, Genetec, Avigilon, Hanwha. - Intrusion: DMP, Honeywell.
- Install, terminate, configure and test enterprise security systems with minimal supervision.
- Lead a team on project installations.
- Manage quality control and provide fanatical customer service.
- Take responsibility for and track project progress.
Preferred system knowledge includes CCTV, Access Control, IP Cameras, Intrusion Detection, Video Analytics, IP network systems and visitor management.
Education- High School or GED (minimum).
- Electronics training from a technical school or military training in electronics or communications (preferred).
Security 101 is a DFWP and EOE organization with a team‑oriented work environment.
Must have a clean driving record, pass a background investigation and drug‑test screening, and be able to work in both office and outside environments, climb a ladder, use a forklift and carry boxes weighing up to 50 lbs.
