Foreman
The Foreman will oversee and coordinate on-site operations at construction projects. This role serves as the primary point of contact between field workers and site management, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to project plans and specifications. It requires strong leadership, problem-solving skills, and a solid understanding of construction methods and safety protocols.
Responsibilities- Supervise and coordinate crew activities on-site.
- Oversee installation of storm, water, and sanitary sewer systems.
- Ensure work meets project plans, specifications, and safety standards.
- Communicate with project managers, inspectors, and subcontractors.
- Maintain accurate daily reports and site documentation.
- Lead by example and enforce safety protocols.
- Assist with training and mentoring crew members.
- 3+ years of underground utility experience (with 1+ year in a leadership role preferred).
- Understanding of utility installation methods and safety requirements.
- Knowledge of excavation, grading, utility installation, and site layout.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and grade stakes.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment and in various weather conditions.
Skills & Qualifications
- OSHA 10 or 30 certification preferred.
- Valid driver's license (CDL a plus).
