Controls System Technician III
Our client, a leader in building automation and HVAC solutions, is seeking a Controls System Technician III to join their team. As a Controls System Technician III, you will be part of the Service Department supporting the Facilities Management and Building Automation teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication, and a proactive approach to service delivery, which will align successfully in the organization.
What's the Job?
- Perform system commissioning using Johnson Controls configuration and commissioning tools.
- Troubleshoot and resolve HVAC mechanical, electrical, and controls issues.
- Respond to warranty calls and provide high-quality customer service to resolve building inefficiencies.
- Load system-level controller software and perform diagnostics from controllers to end devices.
- Maintain documentation, calibrate systems, and communicate effectively with clients and team members.
What's Needed?
- Vocational School four-year program or an Associate degree in electronics, mechanical systems, computer technology, air conditioning, or a related field, plus three years of industry experience, or 4+ years experience servicing electronic and/or mechanical HVAC systems.
- Knowledge of HVAC controls systems, facilities management systems, and peripheral equipment installation and servicing techniques.
- Effective interpersonal skills to professionally represent the organization and communicate technical information clearly.
- Ability to program HVAC-related software and operate electronic test equipment.
- Reliable transportation to ensure timely attendance at job sites.
