Responsibilities
- Perform inspection, testing, and maintenance/repair of Wet, Dry, Pre‑Action, and Deluge Sprinkler systems in accordance with NFPA and state Department of Health regulations.
- Accurately discern and document deficiencies found during inspections.
- Communicate findings to employees, employers, customers, and authorities having jurisdiction both written and verbally.
- Apply knowledge of fire pumps, backflows, and standpipes when necessary.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- NICET LevelII certification.
- Three years of field experience with Wet, Dry, Pre‑Action, and Deluge Sprinkler systems.
- Functional knowledge of Wet and Dry Sprinkler Systems.
- Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
- Ability to stand or climb stairs and ladders for extended periods.
- Ability to lift a minimum of 40 pounds without assistance.
- Excellent customer‑service skills, and strong written and oral communication abilities.
- Good organizational skills.
- Pass a pre‑employment security, drug, and background check.
- Knowledge of fire pumps, backflows, and standpipes.
Hourly rate: $26.06 – $35.80, determined by education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, internal equity, and market data.
