Fiber Splicing & ISP Lead
Must-Haves:
• Fiber splicing experience and understanding of fiber network deployments
• ISP construction or telecom infrastructure experience
• Experience with GIS platforms (IQGeo preferred, ArcGIS or similar accepted)
• Ability to read and understand telecom network documentation and network layouts
• Comfortable spending significant time in the field validating construction progress
• Valid Driver's License
Plusses:
• Previous experience as a Fiber Technician or Fiber Splicer
• ISP network experience
• Construction coordination experience
• Knowledge of fiber placement, conduit installation, and network handoffs
• Experience supporting large-scale fiber buildouts
Day-to-Day:
• Verify fiber construction and splicing activities in the field
• Confirm conduit connections, fiber placement, and splice completion
• Upload and maintain accurate network records within IQGeo/GIS systems
• Conduct site visits and quality assurance checks throughout the Ohio market
• Coordinate with engineering, construction, and field teams
• Track project progress and ensure documentation accurately reflects field conditions
• Support network build activities and help identify issues before they impact project timelines

This candidate will support fiber construction and splicing projects by verifying field work, documenting network updates in GIS systems, and ensuring projects are progressing according to plan. The ideal candidate has experience with fiber splicing, OSP construction, or telecom networks and enjoys being both in the field and coordinating with internal teams.

Compensation: $28/hr to $35/hr exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
