Position: Senior IoT Quality Analyst - Cardio Partners - Dublin, OH

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail‑oriented Senior IoT QA Analyst to join our team. In this critical role, you will play a key part in ensuring the quality and reliability of firmware, backend systems, and essential tooling for cutting‑edge cellular IoT products. You will work hands‑on with physical devices throughout the entire development cycle, leading comprehensive testing and validation efforts, and implementing test automation where appropriate.

M‑TH Dublin Office Based, Fridays remote.

The Senior IoT QA Analyst plays a vital role in safeguarding the integrity and reliability of Sarnova’s connected healthcare technologies. By ensuring rigorous testing and validation of embedded systems and backend infrastructure, this role directly supports product excellence, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency. The insights and processes developed by this individual will help reduce field issues, accelerate time‑to‑market, and uphold Sarnova’s reputation for innovation and quality.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Develop, implement, and maintain robust quality assurance processes for firmware, backend systems, and tooling solutions used in cellular IoT devices
  • Design and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for embedded software, backend systems, and embedded AI models
  • Perform thorough end‑to‑end testing of IoT physical products, including functional, integration, regression, and system testing
  • Work directly with physical devices for hands‑on testing, troubleshooting, and validation of hardware and software interactions
  • Collaborate closely with development, hardware, electronics, and manufacturing teams to ensure product quality and resolve issues efficiently
  • Actively monitor fleet of devices in the field for optimal operation
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes, tools, and automation frameworks
  • Stay current with emerging IoT technologies and recommend innovations that align with business goals
  • Additional job duties as assigned
Skills and Experience Required
  • Education:

    Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in QA engineering, with a strong focus on embedded systems and IoT technologies
  • Proven experience designing and executing test plans for firmware, backend systems, and hardware/software integration
  • Hands‑on experience with embedded systems testing, including microcontrollers and cellular communication
  • Familiarity with test automation tools and frameworks
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with a proactive approach to quality improvement
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills across technical and non-technical teams
  • Ability to work independently and lead QA initiatives in a fast‑paced, cross‑functional environment
  • Ability to independently manage all aspects of the job role including required goals and business practices in a remote environment
