- Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Automation Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in Katalon Studio for web/mobile/API test automation. The ideal candidate should have solid understanding of test automation frameworks, scripting, CI/CD integration, and end-to-end QA processes.

- Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Katalon Studio (Web, API, Mobile).

Build and enhance keyword-driven, data-driven test automation frameworks.

Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and QA teams to understand requirements and translate them into automation test cases.

Perform API automation using Katalon s built-in REST/SOAP capabilities.

Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Azure Dev Ops, Git Lab CI, etc.).

Maintain test objects in Katalon Object Repository and ensure stability of locators.

Execute test suites, analyze results, identify defects, and drive issue resolution.

Contribute to improving automation strategy, including reducing manual effort and increasing coverage.

Document automation processes, frameworks, and execution reports.

- Technical Skills Required

Strong experience with Katalon Studio (mandatory).

Strong understanding of Selenium / Web Driver concepts (Katalon is built on Selenium).

Knowledge of Groovy/Java for scripting in Katalon.

Experience in API testing (REST/SOAP) using Katalon.

Experience with Git / Bitbucket / Git Hub for version control.

Experience with Jenkins / Azure Dev Ops / Git Lab CI for automation pipeline

Strong understanding of Selenium / Web Driver concepts (Katalon is built on Selenium).

Good understanding of HTML, CSS, XPath, CSS selectors (locator strategies).

Familiarity with SQL queries for backend validation.

Exposure to testing on mobile platforms (Android/iOS) using Katalon (optional).

Experience with Agile / Scrum environments.
