Sr Medical Courier​/Route Driver

Work Schedule:

Monday – Friday 1:00 pm – 9:30 pm; ability to cover 1st and 3rd shift and weekends as needed.

• Act as a floater for the logistics team, providing coverage for various routes.
• Provide on‑route training for new couriers/drivers.
• Assist with dispatch and pickups when needed.
• Load necessary suppliers for the daily pickups.
• Complete the daily pick‑up schedule in a timely manner.
• Deliver all daily picks to the branch at the end of the shift.
• Handle specimens and lab samples safely and efficiently.
• Safely operate the company vehicle and obey all traffic laws.
• Utilize handheld electronic device to manage daily pickups.
• Work directly with the dispatcher for additional pick‑ups as needed.
• Evaluate traffic patterns, alternative routes, and weather conditions as needed.

• Three years or more of driver or courier experience.

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Two years or more of customer‑service experience.

• Very punctual with strong time‑management skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to problem‑solve customer issues.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Physical ability to meet the demands of the position.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Minimum age 21 years.

Pay Range: $17.75 – $25.92 per hour. Eligible for a 2nd shift differential.

Employees scheduled for 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits: medical, dental, vision, life, STD/LTD, 401(k), paid time off (PTO) or flexible time off (FTO), tuition reimbursement, and employee stock purchase plan. Employees scheduled for fewer than 20 hours (casual, intern, temporary) are eligible to participate in the 401(k) plan only. Employees on a 7‑on/7‑off schedule are eligible for all benefits except PTO or FTO.
