Warehouse Operations Specialist

Warehouse Operations Specialist is responsible for ensuring the efficient, safe, and accurate movement of goods through all stages of warehouse operations - while also analyzing performance and optimizing processes to aid in continuous improvement. This role combines hands-on execution with process oversight, aiming to meet productivity, accuracy, and service-level targets while maintaining compliance with safety standards

• Daily inbound, outbound, and inventory operations
  :
  Receive, inspect, and store incoming shipments; verify quantities and quality; process returns and discrepancies; and ship orders accurately and on time
• Operate warehouse systems
  :
  Use and maintain warehouse management systems (WMS) and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) for putaway, cycle counts, replenishment, pick/pack/shipping, and data integrity
• Inventory control
  :
  Conduct cycle counts, reconcile discrepancies, investigate root causes, and implement corrective actions to maintain high inventory accuracy
• Team leadership
  :
  Mentor warehouse associates; help leaders to assign shifts; delegate tasks; and foster a culture of safety and continuous improvement

• HS Diploma at minimum, bachelor's degree in supply chain or operations preferred
• Experience working in a distribution center
• Warehouse systems (WMS/ERP), inventory control, and logistics coordination
• Analytical thinker- this role is hands on but also requires someone who can use excel and help evaluate data for continuous improvement
• Has worked with equipment- forklift, picker, etc
