Summary:
- Location:
Dubois, PA - Duration: 4+ Month Contract
Pay: 26.22/hr, W 2 Responsibilities:
- Generate detailed, short term production line schedules derived from the site production plan, ensuring clarity and tactical direction for each value stream.
- Assign daily and weekly work to individual value streams based on labor, equipment availability, and priority requirements.
- Evaluate and mitigate short-term labor and equipment constraints, escalating issues when needed and adjusting schedules to maintain alignment with delivery commitments and resource plans.
- Collaborate with Production Supervisors to balance workloads, optimize resource utilization, and ensure schedule attainment.
- Monitor On-Time to Promise (OTP) and drive root cause corrective action (RCCA) to address delays, disruptions, or schedule deviations.
- Manage order changes, rescheduling, and recovery plans to protect both OTP and On-Time to Request (OTR) performance.
- Work directly with Buyer/Planners to resolve material-related constraints and ensure supply for immediate production needs.
- Support Customer Service by responding to specific customer order inquiries, including promise dates and schedule status.
- Partner with Master Scheduler, Planning, and Production teams to maintain alignment to the production plan.
- Identify opportunities to improve scheduling accuracy, reduce bottlenecks, and increase value stream performance.
- Support site continuous improvement initiatives utilizing Lean Manufacturing principles.
- Other duties as required.
- Associate or Bachelor degree in Supply Chain or Business preferred.
- Experience working with and maintaining ERP Data (SAP preferred).
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, capacity planning, and shop floor execution.
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience using CI Lean Manufacturing Tools.
- Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel and Power BI.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze constraints, problem solve and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate across functional areas.
- Ability to comply with all required PPE, including safety glasses, Hi Viz vest, and safety toe shoes.
