Quality Technician – Night Shift
We are currently seeking a night shift Quality Technician for the DuBois, PA site. In this role, the Quality Technician will be responsible for ensuring quality initiatives are met in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The night shift hours are 6:00 P.M. to 6:00 A.M. on a 2-2-3 schedule. Initial job training will be conducted during day shift hours.
Responsibilities:
- Gain an understanding of a specific Sensus product design, including materials and manufacturing requirements while working with cross-functional teams
- Develop and maintain inspection reports
- Conduct routine quality inspections and analyze data
- Perform product audits
- Identify improvement opportunities in quality control processes
- Facilitate Root Cause Analysis through various problem-solving tools and techniques on internal concerns or external customer returns
- Supporting product Quality Engineers to achieve objectives
- Participate in 5S projects and safety meetings.
Job Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Quality ASQ certification a plus
- Manufacturing experience preferred
- Fluent in Microsoft Word/Excel
- Ability to read technical drawings
- Ability to use a variety of precision measurement tools and equipment
- Can work independently with minimal supervision, and be able to follow written directions
- Works well with others in a team environment
Physical Demands:
- Ability to lift safely up to 35 pounds
- Ability to use lift support devices
- Regularly required to sit or stand, reach, bend and move about the facility
- Regularly required to listen, talk to, and see employees on a daily basis.
Work Environment:
- Manufacturing environment; may be exposed to loud noises, changing temperatures, machinery with moving parts and various materials.
- Climate controlled workspace, majority of the time with occasional work within manufacturing climate changes.
Compensation and Benefits:
The estimated pay range for this position is $ per hour. The starting pay rate is determined by various factors, including skills, experience, and work location.
