Maintenance Technician
Dubois Health Care is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to support facility operations, equipment reliability, and building maintenance. This role is ideal for someone with strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting experience who can work independently, respond to maintenance needs promptly, and help maintain a safe, efficient environment.
Key Responsibilities- Troubleshoot automated industrial equipment and identify necessary repairs.
- Install, maintain, and repair mechanical equipment and building systems.
- Support a strong preventive maintenance program across the facility.
- Complete work order assignments accurately and on time.
- Repair, modify, or fabricate parts for mechanical equipment as needed.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and schematics.
- Install utility lines for steam, water, air, gas, vacuum, and condenser systems, including soldering, pipe threading, and electrical conduit work.
- Perform preventive maintenance on equipment and complete required safety training.
- Use maintenance systems to record work and equipment data.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work area.
- Strong background in mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and troubleshooting skills.
- Experience with boiler maintenance preferred.
- Knowledge of steam, air, and plumbing systems.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work with people at all levels.
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent plus at least two years of related experience.
- Plumbing and welding skills preferred.
- Ability to speak and write clearly and understandably.
- Must provide own tools necessary to complete essential job functions.
