As an accounting intern, you will work alongside Honkamp team members by applying the skills learned in the classroom to real-world, business-impacting projects.

• Processing monthly accounts
• Preparing bank reconciliations
• Prepare state sales and use tax
• Prepare annual 1099 and 1096
• Maintaining client depreciation schedules
• Handle all administrative tasks, as assigned

• Are considering a long-term career in public accounting and want exposure to the industry
• Desire to grow professionally and develop your client service and technical skills
• Want to demonstrate your performance and ability to potentially join Honkamp as a full-time employee

Candidates should be pursuing a degree in accounting.

• Outstanding academic performance
• Demonstrated skills in the areas of time management, communication and problem-solving
