With our wide range of services and clients, you'll work on projects that matter as part of the Honkamp team. A Typical Day in the Life: As a staff accountant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our clients’ financial needs. Responsibilities may include: Perform day-to-day accounting tasks, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations
Prepare payroll records, tax plans and year-end financial statements
Maintain client depreciation schedules
Collaborate with team members to ensure compliance with accounting principles and regulations If you are a detail-oriented individual looking to kickstart your career in accounting, we’d love to hear from you!
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting
Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new software
Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
