Staff Accountant

Staff Accountant Foodliner, Inc.

Dubuque, IAFoodliner, Inc. is seeking a Staff Accountant. As staff accountant, you will be responsible for performing accounting functions to ensure consistency in reporting and compliance with accounting principles.

Primary job responsibilities include:

Creating and entering journal entries for the monthly financial close process

Generating financial statements and reviewing for accuracy on a monthly basis

Reconciling general ledger accounts

Collaborate with internal teams to identify discrepancies, resolve issues, and help ensure the integrity of financial records

Completing ad hoc analytical projects and tasks

The ideal candidate:

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related business discipline

Inquisitive and innovative—someone with great intellectual curiosity

Effective at time-management and balancing competing priorities and projects
