The Dubuque Community YMCA is seeking applications for a full-time Business Administration Specialist.
This position primarily supports the Controller (Finance Director) in conducting day-to-day operations and works closely
with other department directors.
The primary duties of this position include receiving and processing all accounts payable invoices and
payments, invoicing and processing all receivables, and confirming and processing welcome center close
outs and deposits; HR functions including processing bi-weekly payroll and assisting in the onboarding of
employees; assisting development staff with recording and processing donation pledge and payments;
assisting with childcare billing. Additionally, this position supports general office operations, assists as
needed with planning and conducting fundraising events, and assists at the welcome center if needed.
A person in this position needs to have general computer skills, attention to detail, strong customer
service skills, and a willingness and ability to work on a wide variety of tasks and projects at any time.
