About the Position

Seasonal School Photographer, starting July 28, 2026, located in Dubuque, IA. Must reside in Dubuque, IA or surrounding areas. On‑site position. No prior photography experience required; bring a reliable vehicle and positive energy to make kids smile.

• Capture genuine smiles and create memorable school photos.
• Travel to local schools with a personal vehicle for picture day events.
• Set up, operate, and take down photography equipment at school locations.
• Use photo software to organize and manage images.
• Work independently during smaller events after training.

• High school diploma or GED (must be 18+).
• Reliable, insured vehicle and valid U.S. driver’s license (public transportation not permitted).
• Willingness to start early, including driving start times as early as 4 AM, and occasional extended hours when travel is involved.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs of camera equipment.
• Ability to store camera equipment at home when not in use.
• Cheerful, friendly personality, especially around children.
• Comfortable working in a school environment with children of all ages and abilities.
• Strong communication, customer‑service, and technology skills.
• Ability to work independently for smaller events after training.
• Reliable cell phone and internet access.
• May be required to complete additional background/health screenings as determined by state policies.
