Instructor / Assistant Professor of Exercise Science
The university seeks to fill one full‑time faculty appointment at the rank of Instructor or Assistant Professor of Exercise Science, beginning August 2026. Rank at the time of hire will be dependent upon applicant degree and certifications held.
Qualifications- Master's degree in an exercise science‑related field.
- National Strength and Conditioning Association Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) certification. Applicants willing to obtain CSCS within six months of hire will be considered.
- Teach courses such as Fitness Assessment and Exercise Prescription and Application of Exercise Science, and potentially other courses aligned with the candidate's expertise in the Exercise Science program (e.g., Kinesiology, Exercise Physiology).
- Conduct research in the candidate's area of expertise and pursue professional development in instructional delivery/design.
- Advise students, prepare and assess curriculum, recruit and retain students.
- Serve on university committees.
