Clarke University is seeking applications for an adjunct faculty position to teach Organic Chemistry I and II with labs (7 contact hours/week) for upper‑level science students beginning August 2026. The position requires a master’s degree or a doctorate in chemistry or a related science area. Candidates who are ABD will be considered. If hired, the instructor will be expected to teach face‑to‑face on the Clarke University campus in Dubuque, IA.
Organic Chemistry I and lab are taught in the Fall semester. Organic Chemistry II and lab are taught in the Spring and are the second half of the two‑semester sequence. This sequence of courses is offered by the chemistry program and serves as a required course for the biology and chemistry programs.
