Environmental Engineer in Dubuque

Job Description POSITION DESCRIPTION

We are currently seeking a full-time Environmental Engineer. Our team works with communities on a wide range of civil, municipal, and environmental projects. We are looking for a Professional Engineer who would work with Engineers, CAD Technicians, Construction Observers, Land Survey Chiefs and office staff in various capacities.

• Participate in Business Development, including initiation of client contacts and preparation of project proposals.
• Client contact including attendance at board or council meetings.
• Prepare detailed technical engineering reports.
• Prepare plans and specifications for specific projects.
• Work with Construction Observers/ Technicians during all facets of construction.

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Environmental Engineering with Master’s degree.
• Five (5) years of environmental engineering design experience.
• Experience in municipal wastewater treatment and drinking water treatment design and construction.
• Iowa or Missouri P.E. license or EIT certification with ability to obtain P.E. license within 1 year.
