Back Waters Amp is the next chapter in live entertainment at Q Casino + Resort. What started as Back Waters Stage, an outdoor concert experience in a temporary setup, has grown into a permanent, world-class amphitheater. This is a major upgrade and a milestone for our property and our community. As an Event Cashier, you are one of the first faces guests encounter when they arrive.
You set the tone for their entire evening by making transactions fast, friendly, and seamless. This is a schedule-based position with hours determined by event programming, perfect for someone who enjoys live events and takes pride in delivering great service.
Reports to:
Casino Revenue Director
Process cash transactions for beverage ticket sales and chair rentals, providing accurate, efficient, and friendly service to guests at Back Waters Amp events.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities- Sell beverage tickets to guests accurately and efficiently
- Process chair rental transactions and coordinate with ushering staff on availability
- Handle cash responsibly, including accurate counting, balancing, and reconciliation at end of shift
- Adhere to all event safety and cash handling standards
- Maintain a welcoming and positive demeanor with every guest interaction
- Communicate clearly with team members to ensure smooth event operations
- Report any discrepancies or issues to the Director of Casino Revenue promptly

- High School Diploma
- Previous cash handling or point-of-sale experience preferred
- Accurate and accountable in all cash handling responsibilities
- Able to communicate clearly and warmly with guests and co-workers
- Diligent and detail-oriented, especially in high-volume situations
- Able to perform under the stress and pace of a busy event environment
- Dependable and available for scheduled event shifts including evenings and weekends
