Position: 401(k) Plan Administrator

Job Description

The 401(k) Plan Administrator is primarily responsible for processing loans or distribution requests and responding to client requests. This position will provide timely and accurate daily processing of distribution requests. This member must be able to manage and prioritize competing deadlines in addition to displaying good time management. Strong customer service and attention to detail with problem solving skills are a must.

Core

Job Duties
  • Review and approve termination, death, hardship or retirement distribution paperwork
  • Review and confirm vesting
  • Issue checks and calculate the proper tax reporting
  • Monitoring daily system tasks within the Relius system
  • Proactively communicate any data issues identified with clients and/or participants
  • Respond to client requests, issues, and/or problems promptly, efficiently, and effectively
  • Process loans, issue loan checks, and communicate loan amortization schedules to payroll
  • Support other projects and assignments as needed
Minimum Qualifications
  • Associate’s degree or 2 years experience in retirement industry.
  • Typically requires a minimum of 1-3 years of related experience.
