Position SummaryThe Investment Senior Associate / Vice President will lead financial underwriting, due diligence, capital raising support, transaction execution, and asset management initiatives. The ideal candidate combines exceptional financial modeling skills with strong business judgment and the ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.
This position offers substantial exposure to acquisitions, development, lender relationships, private equity investors, hotel operations, and strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities- Lead underwriting and financial modeling for acquisitions, developments, and recapitalizations.
- Build sophisticated Excel models including DCF analyses, partnership waterfalls, debt financing, and sensitivity analyses.
- Evaluate investment opportunities and prepare recommendations for the Investment Committee.
- Coordinate all phases of due diligence.
- Lead transaction execution from Letter of Intent through closing.
- Manage relationships with lenders, investors, brokers, consultants, attorneys, and operating partners.
- Prepare Offering Memorandums, investor presentations, and capital raise materials.
- Assist with structuring debt and equity financing.
- Monitor portfolio performance and recommend strategies.
- Work alongside hotel operators and asset management teams.
- Prepare quarterly investment reporting.
- Identify operational efficiencies and revenue enhancement opportunities.
- Assist in negotiating transaction documents.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Real Estate, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
- 3–10+ years of relevant experience.
- Advanced Excel financial modeling skills.
- Experience underwriting commercial real estate assets.
- Strong understanding of debt, equity, and development finance.
