Mercy One Dubuque is the leading hospital in the tri‑states, offering the only comprehensive cardiology center and Level II regional neonatal intensive care unit in the area as well as the newly constructed Mercy One Dubuque Cancer Center. Other services include a trauma center, a CARF‑accredited inpatient rehabilitation unit, orthopedics, retail pharmacies, palliative care and a wide range of outpatient and community services.
Mercy One operates two hospital‑based skilled nursing units and a 40‑bed nursing home.
In recognition of the strength of its nursing service and the overall quality of patient care, Mercy One Dubuque has been designated a Magnet hospital four consecutive times – the nation’s most prestigious award for nursing excellence.
Performs duties related to delivery, set‑up, installation and/or fitting of home medical equipment (HME). Ensures equipment is appropriate and safe for home use by the client/caregiver and instructs client/caregiver on use of equipment following manufacturer’s guidelines, regulatory standards, and home medical equipment policy/procedure. Assures that the proper documentation is obtained from the client and paperwork is completed in a timely and accurate manner.
Must demonstrate the characteristics of excellence in customer service to positively promote Mercy One to all customers.

Shift:
Schedule- List schedule requirements, hours, weekend and holiday requirements.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills. Good interpersonal skills. Able to work independently with limited supervision and exercise good decision‑making skills.
- Ability to work with a diverse population of all age groups and in settings that may be less than desirable to the employee.
- Able to organize, prioritize and function in a fast‑paced environment and adapt to changes while maintaining efficiency and composure. Completes work in a timely and accurate manner.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Current operator’s license with a good driving record.
- Knowledge or background in home medical equipment preferred.
