Other services include a trauma center, a CARF-accredited inpatient rehabilitation unit, home health care, orthopedics, retail pharmacies, palliative care, and a wide range of outpatient and community services. Mercy One operates two hospital-based skilled nursing units and a 40-bed nursing home. In recognition of the strength of its nursing service and the overall quality of patient care, Mercy One Dubuque has been designated a Magnet® hospital four consecutive times - the nation's most prestigious award for nursing excellence.

Join the Mercy One Family! We are looking to hire a Sonographer II!

• Perform ultrasound exams including OB/GYN, abdominal, breast, small parts, and other related ultrasound procedures as necessary on scheduled or emergent basis
• Maintain related records
• Provide general assistance to the radiologist in interpreting studies
• Provide technical instruction to students and hospital staff

• Per Diem (PRN)

• Must be registered with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) with two of the following:

• Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS)
• Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS)
• Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT)
• Registered Musculoskeletal Sonographer (RMSKS)

• Maintains active registry status with ARDMS (30 CME’s every 3 yrs/annual payment)
• 2+ years sonography experience
• Child and Dependent Adult Abuse Mandatory Reporter Training is required within six (6) months of hire and every three (3) years thereafter.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 30 days of hire and every two (2) years thereafter
